This is a talk aimed at beginners looking to contribute to Debian. I plan to talk about my motivation for contributing to Debian and how I got started. I will also talk about how one can contribute to Debian regardless of their technical capability.

As we enter the year of Indian DebConf, we would like to present how we got to hosting DebConf and how we plan to go through with it.
As DebConf is a biggest, annual Debian conference lots of work needs to be done and we would like to present opportunities for you to work with the team to make DebConf23 Kochi a success.
